In this way, the braking effect may be enhanced, but it also depends on the specific model. Blindly pursuing large calipers is not enough.

3. Look how many pistons there are in the brake caliper

Of course, it is good to have more calipers and pistons. For the same car, the clamping power will be improved by replacing the original single piston calipers and upgrading the multi piston clamp. The advantage of more pistons is that the braking force can be more evenly dispersed while maintaining the total braking force unchanged; Because in intense driving and high speed, frequent re stepping on the brake will produce huge heat, which will lead to the rapid temperature rise of the brake disc. After the temperature rise, the brake disc will be in a red hot state, and the strength of the brake disc will be reduced at this time.
